College asked us to re brand a charity of our choice and to create a stationary set a piece of advertising and a website layout for them i chose to do The new hope trust which is based in Peterhead/Scotland
I have designed to following. (the view box is a bit off in this project)
Here i have my logo development having the cardinal as the logo because it means hope. having the blue and orange making a calm feel to it and it is not as harsh as the grey and red as i previously experimented.
A poster i created for this project about a girl named Olivia Downie, a real life appeal to a girl in my local area about her battle with cancer at only the age of 6.
stationary set for the project clear simple layout with the simple clean colours
Finally the website only three pages the brief asked and designed the simple (matching the rest of the corporate identity) i chose to stick with the blue and orange so it will stay a set and not look like its just put there without any thought.

Book covers version 2
These book covers were my alternative ideas that i put into action when i designed them. (boxes and publisher logo would have been removed/ changed if they were to be submitted for assessment)
These were my secondary ideas. The BFG was kind of the same concept but it was the the BFG looking put shown by the big foot having the faded out lettering and the cold faded out look i wanted to emphasize that this was a classic and older people can read them especially if they grew up with them.
The idea behind Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was the same as before but just with different imagery if this was to be used for assessment i would change the publisher logo and have the fence in the picture taken away after realizing that there was no fence in charlie and the chocolate factory.

Book Covers version 1
College asked us to design a set of book covers for two books i chose to do the bfg and charlie and the chocolate factory. The idea behind the bfg was that you were looking out into the ocean and you see a tall giant in a cloak a bit like the story where the giant runs out and begins to go out of site. i have added the stars to show the wishes that the bfg collects and stores.
The story behind this is the idea of the children and Willy Wonka having the tour across the factory and the oompa loompa are making the chocolate. these ideas were initially sketched up and then redesigned on Photoshop with the publisher logo and type being done in Illustrator
